4.5 Videowalk Production phases

The development process for a videowalk such as Corporate Unconscious diverges from the conventional stages of film production, which traditionally include pre-production, filming, and post-production. In the project, material was generated and refined repeatedly, as if multiple short films were being produced and layered over one another. A significant challenge in producing this piece was ensuring the seamless integration of all production stages, given their independence each department had. We aimed to move away from the standard cinematic workflow; for instance, music wasn't just an overlay added during post-production, and VFX served purposes beyond mere embellishment or special effects. This required a different approach, demanding coordination and collaboration to weave together the diverse components into the comprehensive experience we envisioned.
